The Photographer

My name is Allison Vaughn and I am photographer born and raised in Central Florida. I have had a passion for photography for as long as I can remember, but it seemed to truly develop while I was in high school.

Gifted my beloved Canon Rebel XTi in 2006 by my husband (then boyfriend), I become diligent in learning the craft.

I started as a hobbyist photographer with the occasional photo session for friends and family, to now, in 2015, a professional photographer.

My Passion

I received my degree in Elementary Education K-6 in 2005, so naturally, I love kids! I spent from 2005-2008 teaching kindergarten and loved my time with my 5-6 year olds. This age is absolutely hilarious!

When I was teaching, I would practice a lot on the kids since they were often willing subjects. Children are still some of my favorite subjects! I love photographing children, couples, and babies.
